
Rare set items do not always have static stats or static sockets. Even though most sets may be equipped by any class, set bonuses may be geared more towards certain classes than others. Some sets may feature more items than the number required to obtain all of the set's bonuses equipping more than the required number of items does not confer any additional bonus. Sets may feature incremental bonuses, with more bonuses being granted as more items in the set are equipped.
Sets range from only a few items to one for every item slot, with most rare sets covering at least each of the seven main armor slots. Sets can include any type of equippable item.
